Let me tell you a little something about me. I'm a 42 year old wife and mother. I am also an Artist,photographer, astrologer, Tarot card reader, and self-taught Theologian of 16 years. I have been a ghost hunter, and a psychic (seriously). I have a four year degree in Criminal Justice. I have worked as a teacher, a soldier, a security officer, and for a short while during college, held such prestigious jobs as dishwasher, hostess, pizza delivery, and in home aid care giver. I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when I was in elementary school (more on this later) and was diagnosed after a bad car accident with two herniated disc, one in my neck and one in my lower back, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and Spondilytis. I began this blog as a type of therapy. let's face it, mental health services in this country suck and are too damn expensive. Soooo this is pretty much it for me. That and my art.
As I mentioned before, I'm a mother. I have two 12 year old twins. One boy (Jay) and one girl (Mel). They too are diagnosed with Autism. They were born a month premature and had some health issues as babies. My son was diagnosed with Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension and was placed on an Ecmo Machine. Because of this he also has mild Cerebral Palsy. My daughter had Torticollis and had to wear one of those DOC bands on her head. How my husband Danny deals with all of this, I have no idea.
This blog will be about my experiences over the years dealing with the magical community, ghost hunting, art, and pretty much whatever tickles my fancy. this is meant to be light and humorous with a bit of real truth thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!
